MA_F.A.: Nnightmare of Chocolate

I been to Bournville twice.

The first time, I discovered environment of Bournville, buildings, canal, and roads. Link : First Time at Bournvill

The second time, I entered Cadbury factory to see how to make chocolate and try chocolate at 19th Oct.

After I tried chocolate, found it is to sweet for me. So I use this idea to do my work be a link with Bournville. Then I cancel my old idea about building images with traditional Bournville building and the New Library.

I start my major work food of chocolate, and mix my decay body work (My work about mildew body). Then I found some peers are help me to be my modules. But I used a straight way to do my work that cannot make people focus on my photography.

But this photography is most people and I favorite photos at this time, because this is look very dry, illness, and painful on the belly button.

Above those three pictures are to boring to no one like, because just straight images of nipple on chocolate powder that is duty and uncomfortable. And the image just nipple that is it.

Then I though I need make some interesting and focus on body after discuss with teacher and peers. I did other photography with my friends.

I have two main problems at this shoot.
First, those are not strong enough on photos, because I want to say sweets would make decay when eat to much. However, my module is to care clean so photos not powerful for me. Second, It is quality problem, because I don't know how to exactly use CANNON 5D .

Teacher, Stuart suggest me looking for an artist (Link: Berni Searle ). She use spice powder to cover a body, the image is stronger then me. And I like her work then I bought her book!

So, I took photos three times.

This time is better for quality and stronger images.

Chocolate is my idea of link with Bournville where is a famous place to make of chocolate in the UK. Images of chocolate are feeling happy, sweet, and love but I choose a way that is a same idea with my major work, I doing food art work and making food mildewed. So I use reciprocally way to talk about image of chocolate. My photography is printed on canvas, because canvas have little square of shape it is similar human skin. And I use some horrible powder of chocolate on a part of human body that it is to show decaying mouth and stomach, because chocolate is a very sweet food. If eat much more then will get sick and destroyed body.

Finally, I choose two photos to print. Those is print on canvas because it is like skin vein and those are big print 140x100cm (Link: Digital printing)
